This week I joined the Progress, Not Perfection team challenge to "Form a healthy habit".
I initially thought to use an existing streak, i.e. not to drink calorific drinks such as alcohol, but I had being going for a week with this, so it felt like cheating.
So I decided on a different habit to establish over the next 21 days, i.e. to try a new SparkPeople video or exercise every day.
As suggested, I am using the HabitForge.com web site for the challenge rather than the SparkPeople Planner appointments, as you can click 'Yes' or 'No' in an email reminder to continue or re-start the habit.
I need to lengthen or up the intensity of my exercises, so I thought to try different ones to see how I go. Currently, I am self-motivated to work out at home with minimal equipment having let my Curves membership lapse. The monthly subscription is now been absorbed by the household, but I hope to extract some of this to put in my piggy bank soon to used as funds for rewards.
