Has this ever happened to you?

You're working out like mad, drinking water, eating your five fruits and veggies a day, and the scale slowly creeps downward. Maybe you lose a pound a week for a month or so.

Then you go out with friends, and eat a bit more than you'd planned to. I'm not talking about one of each thing on the menu, but still… The number on the scale skyrockets.

Why does it take weeks to lose a pound and just a couple of hours to gain it back? Why?!?

    It is the Salt!! It makes me hold water like crazy also I have figures out if I have to many wheat products I also hold water ...

    Sometimes it's worth it; other times not so much. This last time? YES!!!
I'd like to be Vulcan so my emotions would be such a factor in my life.

    Yup. Happens all the time. 2 weeks to lose 2 pounds, 2 days to gain it back.

    Sodium might have something to do with it...hopefully.

But you are so right.

Best thing you can do is avoid the scale for a day or two.
