Has this ever happened to you?
You're working out like mad, drinking water, eating your five fruits and veggies a day, and the scale slowly creeps downward. Maybe you lose a pound a week for a month or so.
Then you go out with friends, and eat a bit more than you'd planned to. I'm not talking about one of each thing on the menu, but still… The number on the scale skyrockets.
Why does it take weeks to lose a pound and just a couple of hours to gain it back? Why?!?
