Today I have been back at SparkPeople 5 weeks. I just cannot believe the change in myself since then - not just physical, but mental as well.

I weigh myself everyday. I am one of those people who just has to do that. It keeps me on track and pushes me to work harder towards my goals. When I stop weighing myself everyday, I quit caring about taking care of myself.

I do my measurements once a month - usually around the 1st of the month. That is why it has been 5 weeks this time (December 30 - February 3). I always do my measurements on a Sunday....I know, I's that OCD kicking in again. I just cannot seem to wrap my head around any other day of the week for this kind of stuff. Maybe because Sunday is the day I have the most time for this. are the differences in measurements at the end of 5 weeks:

Weight: -12.4 lbs
% body Fat: -3.1%
% H2O: +3.3%
Muscle: +0.8%
Bone wt: No change
Neck: -1.5"
Arms: -0.5"
Chest: -2"
waist: -5"
Hips: -2"
Thighs: -1.5"
Calves: -0.5"

% weight loss: 5.72%
Total inches lost: 13"

I am amazed at the changes in my body and mind after only 5 weeks. My clothes are becoming huge on me...I need to dig out some smaller ones for sure. I am so motivated to continue on this journey and making it my lifestyle.
