1. Forward Bend with straight legs. Yesterday was my yoga class. The teacher explained that each month they focus on a pose. This month's focuses on the hamstrings. Mine are so tight! Too many box jumps??? Can't wait to see the progress I will make. We practiced this move standing up, sitting down and on our shoulders. Yeah the shoulder move was a little too much for me. Maybe in a few weeks. Also standing on one leg with the other pointed in the air, not sure of the name, was almost unbearable. My legs were shaking and I could not wait to put my leg down. A NEW CHALLENGE!
2. Rope Climb. Yes, the time has come at SWEAT where we are now climbing ropes. We are expected to climb them. Before it was ok to lie on the floor and pull ourselves up as many times as possible...great ab workout, but not good enough anymore. We were told yesterday that if we could not climb to jump and hold on as long as possible. Could be why my arms are so sore today, or it could be from all the yoga:) I already started looking at some Youtube clips to see just how to get my feet right on the rope. We shall see what happens:)
