Sulfite Allergies: Day 2

Morning:
I woke up with my hives gone. Clean start, yay! I had tea and a bowl of organic rice cereal with rice milk. No major allergens, no preservatives. It's three hours later and still no hives! I have an organic apple planned for a snack. Dinner will be free range chicken, carrots, celery, rice, sea salt. I'm even afraid to put on organic pepper or spices. Hopefully this will result in my first hive-free day in the last several months.

Afternoon:
Oh, no! Hives again! Was it the homemade oatmeal cookies or was it the shower with Free & Clear Shampoo? Or perhaps it was the lunch of two boiled eggs and Ezekiel Bread? The clementines? The raw carrots? The filtered water? The sea salt? The tea bag made from bleached paper? Argh! Eggs contain naturally occuring sulpher so I will avoid eating those for a while. And, of course, keep experimenting with different shampoos. And switch to loose tea.

I did a little research on what I ate. The Morton Sea Salt contained Yellow Prussiate of Soda as an anti-caking agent. It is a form of cyanide! It is now in the garbage and I have a lovely canister of Celtic Sea Salt which is unbleached and has no additives at all. Yes, it does clump a little. It is not a problem! Also, I found out what Guar Gum is. Yuck! It's a fermented corn product and contains sulfites. No more cream cheese.
