I followed my dinner and workout plan perfectly last week! It makes me feel so good to see all of my meals checked off on the white board in the kitchen. And watching my fitness ticker move with each workout that I enter is very motivational as well. It is funny, the little things that make living a healthy life fun.
Remember I'm in maintenance. But considering all my breakfasts and lunches are spot on I feel like this dinner plan (even with the treat meals - Sun, Fri) would work for weight loss as well. I'm an all things in moderation gal. Have a slice of pizza with a large salad! You can!
Dinner - DH has been begging for junk food during football for weeks. Will give in since its the super bowl and we are going to have a chicken bacon ranch pizza from our favorite local place.
Workout - Going on a long, hilly walk with a friend.
Dinner - French bread pizza. Just realized we are having pizza two days in a row. Ugh. I don't really have a recipe for this one. I slice a loaf of French bread in half and pull out some of the bread from the inside. Then fill both sides with browned hamburger, sauce, pepperoni and cheese. Serve with fruit. This is a kid approved, Cooking with Mom night favorite.
Workout - Looking forward to trying my new Coach Nicole Total Body Sculpting dvd. Will do the Bodyweight Burn workout.
Dinner - Roasted chicken legs/thighs with potatoes and veggies.
Workout - Run. Going to commit to doing the intermediate run in this article. Trying to improve my time for a 5k I'm running in April.
Dinner - Eggs, Waffles, Bacon/Sausage, Fruit. This is an easy weeknight meal that my family devours!
Workout - Barre Body Blast from the Total Body Sculpting dvd
Dinner - Sausage and Potatoes. I've posted this before. Slice your sausage (smoked beef for us), potatoes, and onion. Drizzle a little oil and bake at 400 for 30 minutes or so. Easy peasy.
Workout - If the run I posted about didn't kill me on Tuesday, will repeat it.
Dinner - BBQ ribs! The baby backs were on sale this week. I've been wanting to try a method I saw on allrecipes where you cook them in a hot oven for a few then put them in a slow cooker. Will let you know how it goes.
Workout - LOVE this dumbbell routine www.womenshealthmag.com/
Dinner - I have an Alfredo Lasagna in the freezer that I made back in December. YAY!
Workout - Rest day!
