Well this has certainly been an interesting week.
First of all, portion control is going pretty well considering how we used to eat around here. We have completely erased pizza from our diet and only eat homemade, whole grain veggie pizza. We only eat say, only one chicken breast each, and one potatoe...and sometimes no potatoes at all! I'm loving it.
In terms of fitness...yesterday I started a lighter, more realistic workout routine. No more jumping into a routine full speed and then dropping it like a brick. I only cheat myself that way. It's time to inch myself into regular workouts. I have such a majorly busy schedule, that I needed to set a more realistic fitness goal. I decided that just little things like lifting my dumbbells or doing squats in my spare time is easier at the moment for me and so far ive done well with it. Tip? Muscle burns fat. Gain muscle, lose fat.
I had my first weigh in and discovered that I lost fifteen pounds! Yay. That's wonderful...but I still can't wait to get out of the twenties. I want to been in the teens. When I see 210 I'm going to be ecstatic! I'll kiss the scale, the fridge, my weights...everything! Lol. Pathetic eh?
