Spring into Summer and February Monthly Challenges

Hi everyone,

With the holidays behind us and January to recover, we are now ready to face the inevitable. Summer is just around the corner. This next challenge will help you get ready for it.

We have a total of three challenges. One long term (90 days) challenges, one month long challenge and a nutrition challenge. With this many challenges to choose from, there are no excuses. So onto the details:

Long-term challenge

There will be two ways to participate in this challenge.

1) Use the Z Cut DVDs
2) ZWOWs

This challenge will begin on February 4th and will run for 90 days.

Prior to Feb 4 please take measurements and pictures of yourself (front, side and back (if you can). This information stays private if you would like. However, I encourage everyone to share on the challenge thread. We are all in this together to support one another.

Also, please post on the challege message thread so that I know you are participating. I would like to award everyone who participates with a SparkGoodie.

Ok so now for the Challenge instructions:

Challenge A: Z Cut DVDS - For those choosing to use the new Z Cut DVDs, please follow the calendar provided for the 90 day program.

Challenge B: ZWOWs - For those choosing to use her web videos, please start with ZWOW 1 and do the ZWOWs in consecutive order. You will do 5 ZWOW per week and have 2 rest days.


Start a journal

On the first page of the journal write down your goals for the next 90 days. This can include anything you want in addition to your fitness goals.

Past your starting pictures on the second page. Leave 3 more blank pages. This is for your upcoming update pictures.

Write in your journal as often as you need to help keep you motivated or to help you identify habits that may need to be modified so that you can accomplish your goals.

At the end of the first 30 days, take your measurements and pictures. Paste them into your journal. Review your goals. What adjustments need to be made to them, if any?

At the end of 60 days, take your measurements and pictures. Paste them into your journal. What adjustments need to be made to them, if any?

At the end of 90 days (end of challenge) take your measurements and pictures. Paste them into your journal.

Also, review your goals. Write a journal entry summarizing your experience and acknowledging what goals you completed and which ones you still need to complete.

February Month long challenge

ZWOW of the Month: ZWOW 5.

Starting Feb 4, complete this video and write down your results.

Do this video as often as you would like. At the end of the month, complete the video again. Write down your results.

Post your beginning and ending results on the challenge thread if you would like.

Nutritional challenge

I thought I would add a monthly food challenge. We can share our struggles, triumphs, strategies and recipes with each other.

This month challenge is a clean eating challenge.

For this month try to eat as clean as you can.

Post your questions, comments, recipes etc on the challenge thread.

These challenges are open to anyone who would like to join us. You are also invited to join our team.
