Well, it's the weekend. I was curious to see what being off work would do to my sugar intake. Now, I know - and it hasn't killed me like it did the cat!
I had 2 Caramel deLite Girl Scout cookies and 1 Thin Mint - which is pretty darn good for me. My daughter and I have been pounding the pavement selling cookies this week. It's doing wonders for her confidence and for my social interactions with neighbors I never knew. But it hasn't been so good for my waistline!
Today, though, I limited it to 3 cookies - and that's saying something! But I'm realizing that I don't feel the need to binge when I'm not exhausted. And knowing is half of the... well, you know the rest.
I am so grateful to the SP community for giving me good advice, and the Sweet Tooth Challenge for this knowledge I have gained. I'm only 3 days in, and I'll keep monitoring my sugar cravings to see if I can learn more about them. But I'm already feeling so much better about tossing this sweet tooth out the window and replacing it with something better!
