I started the New Year with a Pledge. It was a foundation for the year, a “Broad Spectrum” list of goals and changes. In
, you learn to take the big and/or long term goals and break them down into smaller and/or short term goals. My main focus in January was to achieve a 31 day streak in three areas;
and tracking my food. Even though my Official Streak page doesn’t show it, (Did not track the information in a timely manner) I have done at least 10 minutes of exercise, I have tracked my food, and I have consumed at least 8 cups of water a day for the last 32 days.
I have been thinking about what I want for my February goals. Of course I want to continue the streaks I have going, but I have been thinking about what I should focus on.
I have decided to work on my nutritional goals. I had a few days with WAY too much salt and not enough fiber. I have been meeting my calorie goals, but there have been times when I really have to push it to make minimum. I HATE eating just to hit my range and not because I am actually hungry. There are a couple of thing I am going to try, hopefully I can find a good balance.
I did take pictures, and I am glad I did. There is a noticeable difference, especially in the jeans. I am still not brave enough to post them. I divided this year into quarters, and the first quarter ends March 31st. I might be brave enough by then to share, we’ll see.
