My homework

My homework today on Spark coach is to ask yourself the REAL reason you want to lose weight. The first things that actually pop in to my head are all kind of vain. I DO wanna look good, I do want to wear smaller clothes and I just don't like the way I look.
Then as I was doing Walking Away the Pounds I really thought about it. I guess the real reason is I want to be outside! Yes, heavy people can be outside but it takes a fit person to do more then sit, or walk.
I WANT to hike! I Want to Kayak! I wanna see things you can only do when you put hard work behind it! I just absolutely LOVE the outdoors! climbing through caves, swimming with the kids! It is all my idea of heaven!
I don't want to be in this body anymore. It really holds me back from the things I love to do! So every mile I go, every rep of every weight I lift is bringing me so much closer to mile goal of being an outdoor girl!

    Hey! I did the "homework" assignment as well and discovered that, even though my first thought was about how I'd look if I hit goal weight, that wasn't my main reason. I want to be healthy--and I want to unleash my inner athlete.

    We are so similar!!!!
