Four Month Challenge

Well February 6th begins a Biggest Loser Challenge at my work place. I have signed up as well as about 40 other employees! This is the first real challenge I have ever done! I mean I have always been involved in trying to lose weight and get healthy but never followed through with it. My will power has always won over on me. I intend to make that stop!
As I have been getting older the weight has been much harder to get off. And more health issues keep turning up, in or on my body. Getting healthier and fitter in 2013 has to be accomplished. I'm not taking no for an answer! So starting this week there will be set days that I am doing some form of exercise. Treadmill, Strength Training, Body Ball Workout, what ever I can do to get this body in the best shape it has ever been in.
My eating habits are another issue that I will be working on. More fruits and vegetables, lean meats, chicken, and fish. Less sugary, fatty, high calorie foods. I know what I need to do. The problem I have is letting my emotions pull me into bad eating habits. Tracking and size portions are a must for me!
Back to the Challenge--- Besides having a slimmer and healthier body to look forward to there is a Prize of $500.00 for First place and smaller amounts for second and third place! However I feel that if every one who signed up for the challenge gets healthier-- then we will all have finished in First Place!!!!!!!
To be able to make it to first place the winner has to lose 15% of their weigh in weight! So I wish good luck to all the employees!!! I'm ready to do this!!!!!!
