I'm finding that tracking my food isn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. I have been eating normally and tracking to the best of my ability. It says my caloric intake is at about 2000 per day -- so right where I should be. Whew!
Last night a friend and I took the train up to Baltimore to visit another friend who was there for business. We had dinner at a seafood restaurant and I made what I believe to be the best choice on the menu: simple grilled fish. I chose the flounder, and it came with chive butter. The sides were roasted potatoes and brussels spouts (yum!).
I don't know about you, but I feel so empowered when I make good choices for my health. Even better when I'm rewarded by actually enjoying (loving, even!) the dish.
