So........today is my excuse day. My week of nights was crazy busy. I guess back to what has been normal the last year. It has been very cold and bitter. This all added up to "ugh, tired".
I forgot to track my food one day and the following day, couldn't remember what I had actually had the day I missed. The next day, missed again. I'm okay with that though because I know my food choices were on track and excellent. I just don't have proof. I did not bike. I did not do any strength training. Friday was a day I've been putting off since returning to work after breaking my ankle. I........got..........braces. I was home by 1030 am and was in bed by noon. Feeling not too bad. As the evening wore on, the teeth began to ache more and more. I have to relearn how to chew. My bite is off because of spacers the orthodontist had to put in between two of my back teeth. Ouch. So when I woke up at 3:30 I had rice. When I came home from getting my hair done (awesome new colour...thanks K!) I was so hungry but hurting. I managed to eat some perogies I had boiled. Not diet food but oh so soft. Later, I tried a peanut butter sandwich. I've decided I could care less if I eat bread. Now I've downloaded a recipe book for people with braces and I've looked at some vegetarian dishes as meat will be out for a few weeks. Sigh. After blogging this, it's on to the bike. My next appointment is Wednesday to have the spacers removed and the last brackets put on. Just as my teeth will be recovering, I'll be achy all over again. I keep telling myself the results will be worth it. Hopefully no more TMJ, or at least minimun symptoms, a better bite and most of all nice straight teeth (not that they were horrible, just crooked enough
