Pure Evil

Saturday, February 02, 2013

These deceptive little suckers caught me off guard with their calorie content. Absolutely delectable, but outrageously caloric (310 calories apiece). emoticon Of course, I made a rookie mistake and went nearly all day without eating (caught up in a high risk case). emoticon By the time I hit California Pizza Kitchen, I was ravenous and thought these might be ok. emoticon I asked for 3 rolls and she sent me 3 orders (yes, that would be NINE rolls). emoticon I tried to send them back (well, maybe I didn't try that hard emoticon ), but she said to keep them, share and I would only be charged for an order of three. Only two people partook in the fat laden delights, so yes......I confess to eating SEVEN by myself. emoticon Why, oh why, didn't I box some of them to go. Entering those into the nutrition tracker was painful emoticon (plus two delightful glasses of red zin that I do not feel guilty about in the least emoticon) Holy Guacamole, Indeed!!! emoticon

I completely agree with DIBANANA, at least you did put them in the tracker. Seeing those calorie laden suckers sitting there in black and white on your daily tracker serves to burn into your mind what those things are packing. Next time those things come up, you will remember how you felt tracking them and you will either avoid them or you will moderate them appropriately. These types of slip ups make great teaching tools!

Oh no... we've all been there. At least you had the guts to track them, good for you! Tomorrow is a new day *hugs*

I hate when the appetizer has more calories than the main course! Live and learn.

They look delicious! At least you listed them. Doing that keeps you honest. If you don't lose this week you will remember what happened. It is so easy to "forget" when we don't list our food.

Good for you.

Most of us have similar stories, so just track it and start over. Good luck.
