When I am so concentrated on my activity that it perfectly absorbs my mind, I magically escape myself. I'm in the 'Now'. I am aware of nothing else. I am the polar opposite of 'self-aware', or self centered.
This is the Flow State, aka Mindfulness. or the 'Now'. I function at maximum effectiveness, my sense of the passing of time vanishes.
"Quick, somebody, gimme another pot to polish!"
Keeping busy is not the answer. Keeping busy is the question. Yes! is the answer.
