Cooking challenge Two: At goal and maintenance team

This is a wonderful recipe. I followed it exactly. Some of the reviews recommended taking the shells off of the shrimp while marinating. I did both. Bobby Flay was right. The shrimp has more moisture with the shell on.

My family loved this shrimp. I did change the recipe as I took the leftover marinade and brought it to a boil. Then we used it for a dipping sauce. Yummy.

I then tried the marinade on mahimahi. It was excellent..again with a dipping sauce. I think it would make a good tofu marinade as well.

Someone mentioned that this marinade had worked well on chicken kabobs.

I do suggest that you only use fresh ginger.

I served it with a Thai basil leaf salad.
