Bingo Challenges and Perspective

Generally I enjoy the BLC week-end bingo challenges. They remind me to track, eat veggies, get sleep, drink water, stay in touch with my Spark buddies, and exercise. The current one is fine, EXCEPT for 2 squares. I have to post a picture and blog. Posting pics is difficult when we're in the RV and I'm using so-so wifi and my IPAD.

I took a pic while babysitting my grandson a few days ago, and managed to change my profile picture. However, now I can't get any pictures to load into this blog!! Probably the connection is acting up -- nothing new.

This has been a good week for no snacking at night, tracking all food and staying within calorie range, and getting enough exercise. I've even figured out a pretty good ST routine to do in the RV. I'm down 2 lbs since starting BLC #21 and will just keep on making sensible choices as often as possible.


Enough about me! Several of my Spark friends are either dealing with severe health issues themselves or caring for family members who are. My best friend of over 50 years has a life-threatening condition and I'm worried. A young man I know, who's 24, just had a heart transplant and is facing an incredible battle just to do things I take for granted. When I reflect I know how lucky I am, and how important it is not to stop pursuing a healthy lifestyle for my family and myself. Another reason to be grateful I found SparkPeople.

    Great blog, never ever take your health for granted , cherish itg, protect it and realise you van only take charge of how you use it. Sometimes it does hav a mind of it's own. HUGS Pat in Maine, HUGS.

    we camp also. We take resistance bands with us and do the routines from our trainer. May not be as tough a workout but it is doing SOMETHING and that is what is imopratnat. I also take a list from spark fitness to use as well.

    I bet if you ask, you can count that the pictures are on your spark page even if they don't make it to your blog! Hope so!
