Dem Bones

Saturday, February 02, 2013

When I met my husband more than 30 years ago he was pretty much a bone rack. He was 6ft. and a half and weighed about 132 pounds. The first time he hugged me I was crunched by all those bones. I told him he was lucky I had so much padding to hug. Now, he is just the right weight for his height.

Last night, it was payback. We lay down of the couch and he want to rest his head on my hip because it has always been a nice cushy place to land. He put his head down and "Ouch, ouch it's so bony and I just can't get comfortable!" "What happened?" Well, that soft hip is now pure muscle my friends. Guess that is a drawback of losing weight but hey, there are always pillows that can be propped up on bony hips.
