Well, just emailed my friend and realized how much I did yesterday. I went to library, and then read a whole book to dh. Another book, 115 pg. by Patrick Suskind, the author of the book for our Tuesday book club. Different, a real exercise with the very, very long sentences with big words. Story was only of a day in the life of a bank security guard, who didn't even have a bank robbery or anything exciting at all. Boring story, but incredible vocabulary and sentence structure and it kept you rivetted.
I also made a nice big pot of chili. We went for a walk at the forum and then shopped. Found we had a flat tire and had to find an air pump, since though my bro gave me one, my lighter doesn't work, so we cant' use it. It was nice grocery shopping last nite as stores were quiet and peaceful.
Then we watched 2 movies. One was a 50 cent VHS called "Wit", a univer. prof's running commentary of her experiences in her fatal ovarian cancer and how she was treated etc. The other one was called "Unstoppable", it was about a runaway high speed train, and how they were trying to stop it and avert disaster... I was crocheting a hat to donate while I watched, but had to keep putting my eyes on the exciting action on the screen. Happy ending too!
Well, going to the library for a class on how to use my Tablet.
