Puttin' my money where my mouth is- fitness equipment

I've been thinking about buying some fitness equipment as I've decided to work out at home for now because of time constraints. I want to eventually purchase a total gym so I can get some strength training in but I need to set up a space in the basement or decide to get rid of the couch on my enclosed porch and put it there.
I've been thinking about what to get to help me on the way. I've got a basic set of hand weights and one kettle bell, 2 mats, resistance bands, a heart rate monitor , a pedometer and some DVDs. Of course I have me, a long distance workout buddy, I have you guys, SparkPeople and I have proper shoes. I had one of those mini ellipticals but didn't like it very much (I don't like the full sized ones either) so for now it's hanging out on my back porch.
I've been eyeing a stationary bike for a couple weeks. I don't want to spend too much or get something that's too big because I want to use it in the family room. I couldn't decide if I should get a recumbent bike or an upright bike. I finally decided that I didn't really need a recumbent bike because I don't back issues and I didn't like the recumbent bikes at the gym. I never spent more than 10 mins on those because the required posture felt weird. Last night I made the plunge and purchased this baby from Amazon:
This will help me get my workout up to 60 mins per day. I'm still doing the morning circuit training and plan to use this at night when I'm watching tv or hanging with my family at home.
I'm taking suggestions on other things to consider.
