~ Groundhog Day - Split decision ~
Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania predicted an early spring, CT Chuckles, Connecticut's groundhog, forecast six more weeks of winter.
Who to believe? And does it really matter? Yes it is a little groundhog fun, but we all know sooner or later Spring will come. It is a sign or hope, to remind us that Spring is coming.

Wise words from such a young man. Attitude is everything. This is a daily lesson I learn from my 24 year old son. He has Down syndrome, limited speech, pacemaker. This does not hold him back. He does not see limitations that life has dealt him. He has a huge heart filled with compassion to help others and a zest for life.

This intrigued me. The various ways of loving myself, strangers, things and someone is a wonderful way to show gratitude, kindness, that there is good in the world. It is along the line of random acts of kindness only with more intent.
Okay so what does all of this have to do with losing or maintaining weight? No matter what life deals us... our choice of attitude is what truly makes the difference in our development of a sustainable healthy lifestyle. And as adults, we are fortunate that we get to choose what we will consume and do.
