Feeling better again today

So really not sure again why one day I feel fine and the next day I am crashing. I don't like to complain a lot as it seems I can go for almost a year without any symptoms and then all of a sudden I am fighting everyday just to have some energy. I am going to look into finding a good dietitian person whom I can communicate with and share all my food trackers, vitamins and such that I take and see if they can see anything that I haven't seen about what I am eating or drinking or whatever. My biggest frustration is that I have already had so many tests and have been tracking my food forever and really don't eat anything too out of wack. So if any of you know of a good on line recourse let me know.
At least today I am feeling better. I tried to eat a lot of healthy foods yesterday and more salt since I have the low blood pressure. I must have done a good job at that as I am up two pounds since yesterday. At this point I wouldn't even care about a weight gain if I could just know that I would feel good. Health to me is everything.

    When it's this hard to figure out, it's probably something specific to you that doesn't match up well to very many other people. I hope you figure out how to deal with it, or avoid having this happen very often!

I found myself adding sea kelp (iodine)

Who'd ever think about being low on iodine???

    Hi Sallie! I remember this past summer, I was majorly dragging. I needed to talk myself up just to walk from the house to the pool and many times I felt like I needed to give myself a pep talk just to get out of bed in the a.m. And it was so frustrating b/c I wanted to be active and energetic, but was feeling incredibly lethargic. (My doc even tested me for mono!) I remember wondering if it was the heat, but no one else was responding the same way. Anyway, once I learned that I was anemic (following bloodwork) and started taking a supplement, I felt much better (although it took a while to build up in my system). I, like you, remember thinking, "If it's my diet, I would rather put on a few pounds and feel good than feel like crap." I know you are going through a tough time with this, but if you are able to put your finger on it eventually, you will feel so much better and it will have been so worth it. I don't know if your doctor checks all of your vitamin levels... Maybe you could request that he/she do this (and look at your Vit D, Vit B, Iron, etc.) the next time you see him/her. Wouldn't it be nice to learn that all you need is a supplement? Or maybe a dietician can order the same bloodwork and make some suggestions with respect to your diet? You are a lovely person and deserve to feel better! xo

    That is great you are feeling better, but it does sound like you do need a Dietition to help you figure out what may be going on. As this is a regular occurence, there might be something you are having or eating that may not be helpful. I have low blood pressure that sometimes the bottom drops out of, but I have never had anything like you describe. I just almost blackout if I get up from sitting or laying down too quickly. Fortunately, its very rare that it happens.
