I apologize for my absence, my Spark friends. Iíve hit something of a ďslumpĒ and I find myself very sullen when I think about it. Iíve still been exercising and tracking my food. But I canít seem to lose any more weight. Iím hovering between 166lbs and 165lbs and I just canít get the scale to drop! Itís been like this for two weeksÖ going on three. Iím getting very discouraged!
I skipped my workout for the first time last night. I havenít been giving myself any rest days since I started three weeks ago, so I figure a little slack wouldnít hurt. Iíll be back on the exercise wagon tonight.
Iím wondering (in a desperate, hopeful kind of way) if itís possible that Iím gaining muscle and thatís why the scale isnít moving. Is it possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? I know that sounds silly. Obviously thatís how it works. But I mean, does that happen to the point of the scale not moving? My pants are fitting better, and I feel slimmer (not quite slim enough for anyone to notice though) so I feel like Iím doing the right thingsÖ I just want to see the scale move!
