what did I learn?

~carrying a water bottle helps a lot
~eat your fruits and veggies- even if it means bringing them along(but make sure you have finished them before crossing through intermational security)
~walk briskly whenever you can
~airplane seats suck-- I think they were designed by a Scandinavian fast food furniture maker- whole concept of durable, easy to clean, and uncomfortable so patrons don't want to linger.
`I have to admit that my caboose is fitting the width of those seats a whole lot better
~we need to get new pillows at home, the ones in our hotel are amazingly soft and fluffy

now, on to day 2

I think the seats were designed by some dwarf tribe in New Guinea. I am actually 1 1/2 inches shorter than I was forty years ago, but my legs are cramped the whole flight! We took cut up veggies in the quart ziploc bags with no problem, on the plane,, pretzels for sodium and apple slices in a ziploc too.
We learn something new every time we fly!
