A Pep Talk

Do you give yourself a daily pep talk? You should! The power of positive thinking is huge! Whether you know it or not, many of us have multiple episodes of negative self talk every day.

To change that, start paying attention to that little voice in your head. Is it telling you something positive or negative? If the answer is negative, immediately counter it with a positive affirmation.

Sparkpeople has a whole library full of motivation/inspiration. Cell phones have apps that can send you a daily quote to inspire.

Studies show that people who have a positive attitude live longer, happier lives. I choose to think positive thoughts and avoid negative people. I choose to live my life to the fullest.

    Since being on SP I've learned the importance of positive thinking and pep talks. And I find it so much easier to give these same kudos to others. I love it! And thank you for sharing the video - it's been going 'round but I hadn't taken the time. Wouldn't it be fun to have a "Kid President" in your life?!

    Being positive is certainly what keeps me going. If I'm negative, then I get depressed and don't want to do anything except eat chocolate.
