My resolution was to be present this year - and oh, it's been a rough start! those of you who've read my rants :) (thank you for your support!!) know that senior project is proving to take quite a bit of my time. It makes it hard to make time for me and make healthy decisions, but I know that healthy decisions should not depend on daily tasks.
That being said, it's been good to stay busy, but I haven't been as good about my relationship with food as I would like. That isn't to say I haven't made progress, though! I now look forward to cooking my meals for the week and finding new recipes. It's a relaxing way to unwind from everything! I still need to focus on the mindless snacking - it's a tough habit to break, and it seems that it rears its ugly head when I'm working at home.
That brings me to February's goal: this month, I'm going to get my butt out of the house to do my studying - a cafe, the library, anything but free access to the fridge. Monday through Thursday, I have classes, but Friday through Sunday are the guilty days. In addition, I'm going to limit my treats to ONE a week - not ONE DAY a week ;)
