70 Days of ME day 53

Friday, February 01, 2013

Well today has been another long and tiring day. The twins cried a lot today and neither of me took a nap at the same time so it was a bit hectic trying to keep one entertained without waking the other up. Then when I came home, my dad showed me a few possibilities for a new car and so we're going out tomorrow to look, and hopefully purchase. In this picture, my hair is greasy and my face is extremely broke out, but I still have a smile on my face because today was another day. And this next part, if I said this already, I apologize, it has been a long week...but I decided to give up chocolate starting this past Wednesday, the 30th, until my friends wedding because my chocolate cravings were getting way too out of control and so far so good. Wednesday was probably THE worst day to give up chocolate considering all my car troubles, but I made it through Wednesday and so far I've made it through today without it. Sunday may be a bit difficult with the Superbowl, but we'll see how it goes! Please pray that I find a car tomorrow!! I already have a lot of stress right now with this upcoming wedding and now no longer having a car, it would be nice to have some relief. Also, anybody have any ideas for a maid of honor speech that just talks to the bride? I don't like the guy she is marrying and honestly, I don't think they should be getting married. I know I should not have said I'd be in the wedding, but there is no changing her mind about this and she basically didn't give me a choice, knowing full well that I don't agree. :/ I'm trying to just be happy for her, but it's really hard since I've had to pick up the pieces this guy left multiple times already

The speech conundrum is not something I can help with. You're definitely in a tough spot. Just don't say anything you may regret later on.

Good luck with finding a car tomorrow! I'm sure the salesmen will be more apt to accept your offers - maybe they'll want to hurry the process along so they can attend a superbowl party. You never know!
