Went to the grocery store after work and picked up some romaine lettuce, green beans, apples and some tilapia fish. Now I do not like fish, but I know it is good for me and I figure if Jesus grilled it on the beach for his disciples for breakfast then I should at least consider it. A friend of mine posted a southwestern tilapia recipe and I'm going to try it. It looks spicy so I think I might actually like it, but just plain broiled or baked fish with lemon gags me. :( I think I will also check out SP recipes as well.
My mail carrier brought my DVD for my Total Gym today. Right on time too, since today is Day 1 of the 28 Day Boot Camp challenge. I am planning on using it for the strenghth training portion of the challenge. It's called Boomers on the Move - Rewind. It's a "beginner workout for aging adults new to fitness or returning to exercise." "Age-related physical changes can affect mobility, stability and strength." Now I do not think of myself as aging - my mind just doesn't go there - but I will be 57 in a few months and since I'm over 100 pounds overweight, I think this DVD will be good for me.
