Technically, this is day 3, but I'm not including the last two days, they were "prep" days for today, when the challenge starts and when I have to watch my diet.
I woke up, started drinking my fiber drink - after about 4 hours and literally GAGGING I finally got that one down. It was then lunch time, only problem, I wasn't even hungry! I drank one of the Spark drinks, fruit punch, it was delicious. I do not know how I am going to survive this program - the drink was absolutely wretched, I got a massive headache from caffeine withdrawal and I was nauseas for majority of the day thanks to that nasty fiber drink. The Spark drink made my headache die down a good bit though.
I went to bootcamp class, weighed in, gym scales are always higher than home scales - GRR! Only 1.2lbs higher though so I can get over it. I found out my fat %, it was a scary 41% - I am only 9% away from being 1/2 fat. Gross. Disgusting. Absolutely disturbing. That needs to change immediately. I survived the class, thankfully, I felt so horrible Wednesday throwing in the towel not even 1/2 way through. Pushed through tonight though, it got hard, but it was great hearing Heidi (trainer) and Brad (step brother) congratulate me and tell me to keep pushing, it'll get easier. Baby steps, I kept saying. She lightened my load now that she knows where I'm at.
I chatted with Heidi and the other girl in tonight's class once we finished. I shared my experience of pain the last few days (literally feeling as though my hamstrings were ripped off my bones and torn to pieces - even Heidi got the moment when you have to go pee and you dread sitting on the toilet and getting back up because the pain is so excruciating) and the Advocare nausea, seems pretty typical, glad I'm not the only one, it makes it a little easier to push through.
Tomorrow I work until 1 then hitting the gym before I head over to the east coast. Fingers crossed I stay good. No alcohol though! I will be sick.
