Needing Ideas for gluten/wheat/egg/nut free recipes/meals

Friday, February 01, 2013

I am having a very hard time finding EDIBLE recipes that don't have wheat, gluten, eggs or nuts in them. I am GMO-free and its so hard! I am vegan as well, due to allergies. If I had a choice to eat other foods, I would :(
I have looked at a lot of recipes and made a few, but they tasted terrible. I spent the money for allergen free foods, but I get tired of the same thing every day!
Please post a link or two to some good recipes, it would be much appreciated :)

If you haven't already try some recipes at www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com. All of her recipes look amazing but I've only tried one myself. I tried the cookie dough dip and it is made with chickpeas!! You would never ever know either. All of her stuff is vegan. Good luck!

Do you know about these sites?

http://www.theglutenf
reevegan.com

http://www.manifestvegan.co
m/ (this one has a really good lentil/kale lasagna)

http://www.wheatfre
emeatfree.com/all-my-recipes/ (this site is vegetarian, not vegan, but if you are a longtime vegan, you probably know how to easily convert a recipe to vegan).

I am just 8 days into a detox elimination cleanse, where I am not eating dairy, wheat or eggs -- and starting to feel really good and shedding the weight - but I do knowwhat you mean about vegan eating, it's hard finding good recipes.

What I would suggest is for you to go to Ask. com and then type in vegan or gluten free or whatever, and you will be linked to hundreds of recipes that suit your needs. I think you will find this website a great resource for what you're searching for! I think you are a great inspiration, and so don't give up: you are looking fabulous and healthy and strong -- keep on keeping on! emoticon
