Progress/February Goals

Friday, February 01, 2013

My Zip Fitbit was received on November 24th and started using on the 25th. It's a great tool, that has taught me a good bit about myself. It's also got me encouraged to make a few goals so I can continue stepping into a better lifestyle.

November Daily Averages
Steps- 20,082 Ave-3,347
Miles- 8.69 Ave- 1.49

December Daily Averages
Steps- 137,741 4,443.26
Miles- 59.23 1.91
*Made 10,000 steps 1 time

January Daily Averages
Steps- 141,369 4,560.29
Miles- 60.77 1.96
* Made 10,000 steps 2 times

Each time, I've slowly increased movement and improved! I plan to continue the progress but wanted to set goals for them this month. Since the weather is cold I purchase two Walk at Home videos that I bought to try out.

February goals:
* Steps 150,000-175,000
*Miles 63-73
* 10,000 steps 3-4 times

    emoticon emoticon emoticon I have an Omron pedometer that I got for Christmas. I decided to set a goal of walking 10,000 steps each day. It has been a challenge but so far I have managed to do so. Of course sometimes I am watching a TV show at 10 PM to get in the last 2-3,000 steps. I just try to get up and move around more often. May you have continual success in adding more steps to your daily routine. emoticon emoticon emoticon
