I've Lost My Running Partner...

Friday, February 01, 2013

My hubby has been running with me for the past couple of weeks and it's been wonderful sharing that time with him.

He just informed me that while at work today he bent down and felt a stabbing pain in his knee. No running for him tomorrow.

A smart man to give his knees a break. I had to give myself a break after walking 5 miles on tar. I usually run/walk in the woods. My knees needed ice after I hiked around Hillsborough enjoying the Stone Arch Bridges and the ice jams. Check out the photos!

Thanks everyone. We got him a new pair of running shoes and he is going a bit slower for now. It didn't bother him today, so maybe he is mending.

Bummer! I wish my hubby would workout with me - he isn't feeling my funky workout vibe, though in the summer he will bike ride with me.

i hope his knee feels better and you guys can go kick some tail soon!!

Much more fun to run with a partner, but hopefully he'll be back out there with you soon!

Ice it and rest... stay with low impact walking now, for him. emoticon emoticon

Not good. Hope it isn't a serious knee injury. Hang in there on your goals!
