The first 24 hours with the Bodymedia Link

Well...I didn't go to the gym last night. I went early this morning. I used the "workout feature on the droid app to time a "vigorous" workout (running on the treadmill) and it went great. I then did front squats, walking dumbbell lunges and some shoulder rehab exercises, none of which counted as vigorous.
I went to the concept 2 rower after my leg workout to finish off with a 10 minute HIIT workout. Unfortunately, the LINK did not count that as vigorous. I assure you it was. I row easily >150 watts and approach 200 watts regularly which, by my research, should be 8-10 METs at least. Vigorous is supposed to be anything over 6 METs. I'm not sure what the problem was there. I may try that again or just take the arm thing off and enter it as "off body activity" Even the off body activity menu gives me more credit for stationary rowing...
As soon as I got to work, I went through my normal AM pre-game of logging into Sparkpeople. I hooked up the BodyMedia to the computer as well. It seemed to accurately log my sleep, including the nap I took yesterday afternoon. The Sparkpeople interface is ridiculously easy. I haven't tried to enter food into the LINK app and transfer it to Sparkpeople yet. I have all my foods entered into sparkpeople and dread the idea of re-doing that.
I put the armband back on and have been tracking my progress by the droid app today. Fortunately, my natural walking pace ( I call it 'surgical walking') is fast enough to earn me moderate activity every time I walk around the hospital so a quick jaunt from my office across the street to the library and back all counted as moderate activity.
The droid/LINK stopped talking this afternoon and I had to re-pair the two.
Tomorrow I am going to Hot Yoga for an hour and will try entering my food into the droid app.
