I was feeling really down earlier this week, but the positive comments helped reaffirm that I am on the right track. I had a great workout this afternoon and have my first ever aerial yoga class tonight. I am really excited. I have never attempted yoga before.
I am seeing some positive changes in other areas of my life as a result of my commitment to get healthier. I have forced myself to join group classes which I would never do before. I going to a great arm and abs class on Saturday mornings which is great for 2 reasons. First, it makes me more responsible on Friday nights because I know I can't "sleep it off"! The second reason is obviously that it helps me try a different type of workout than I am used to.
I decided to join my company's Dragon Boat team (rowing team) and have talked my hubby into joining a kickball league starting in April.
I can see how all of things have only been possible because of my new focus on fitness!
On the brightside, I lost that lb I gained earlier! Yay.
