How is it that a full month in 2013 has already passed us? It doesn't even seem real. I remember as a kid my mom would tell me that time goes so much faster when you're older and I never believed her. Now it all makes sense...life is just too busy to hold on to moments like you could when you were a kid.
January really didn't go as well as I'd hoped and, of course, I only have myself to blame. I won't go over it all but this past week was just a mess. I hurt my knee last Saturday right as things were looking good for my 1/2 marathon and I was PMSing...not a good combo. It really just led to me being one ticked off woman for the majority of the week. And let me tell you, I am an angry eater. Nothing makes me feel better after an angry day than some fattening, unhealthy food. I should really work on that...lol.
All in all, I'm still down about a pound and a half since I started the Curves diet on Jan 14th. I'm hoping I can get back into the groove of it in the coming week.
My goals for February:
Lose 5 lbs...I could probably lose more but I don't want to overwhelm myself.
Work out 4 times a week
Run 4 miles on Feb 2nd
Run 10 miles on Feb 10th
Run 11 miles on Feb 18th
Run 12 miles on Feb 23rd
I'm only doing 4 miles this week so I can give my knee a little more rest before my next long run.
