My February Challenge

Friday, February 01, 2013

My greatest challenge with any weight loss program that I have worked in the past is eating within my alloted calorie limits.

I've been working SP for just over a month. I've lost 6 pounds by setting very small goals for myself. I have really gotten the hang of things. My biggest challenge was to blog ALL of my food everyday. That's something I never kept up with (EVER.) I have done so for about 6 weeks and am so proud of myself. I tracked the good, the bad, and the ugly. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I worried people would look at my diary and judge me or try to make me eat the way they think I should eat. That hasn't happened at all. Yay!

My BIG goal focus for the entire month of February (which is only 28 days mind you) is to eat within my caloric limits 6 days per week.

Because this is a very BIG goal for me I have changed my weight loss setting to lose .5 pounds per week. This way I am alloted a little bit more calories. I know that if I can realistically eat within these calorie limits for the month of February, then come March I will be able to set my calorie limits to 1 pound per month.

Anyone willing to join me on this challenge, please let me know. I'm not setting up a challenge group or anything, but I'd be happy to support you and could use your support along the way.

I will be rooting for you!!!!! I am working on my caloric intake! I am trying to up my exercise right now. But the tracking is helping me big time.... although there are those days ;) I definitely changed my weekly goal so I wasn't feeling like I was binging like crazy, even on days that I wasn't overeating!

Okay, I'm in! I also like your style of rewards but I will probably change the fitbit because I gave one to my husband and it looks like I may adopt it. I want to up the anti though. I need to do weight lifting/yoga 3 days a week for the month. I am a fat fit girl. I already do eliptical training or jogging for an hour 5 days a week so I would love to add this into the mix. Daily calorie parameter compliance & 3 strength training a week. How does it sound to you?
