Goals for February - A&I Roses, Week One

Since I do weekly goals, this was a pretty easy blog for me. :)

1 - 20 minutes of cardio each night I hit the gym. - I've found that the more cardio I add, the better results I see all around.

2 - 6 fruits/veggies each day. - Some days I do really well, some not so much. Trying to improve on this!

3 - Eat breakfast almost everyday. - I'm TERRIBLE about eating breakfast.

4 - Celebrate a victory everyday. (NOT scale related) - The Anti-Jared has taught me the importance of this!

5 - Read 1-2 books each week. - Working towards my 2013 goal of 100 books read.

6 - Finish going through my clothes. - As I lose weight, I'm donating what doesn't fit anymore. Three bags gone so far.

7 - Reach 220 pounds. (six to go) - I'm pushing towards my third 10% loss.

8 - Use a new piece of equipment at the gym. - Again, when I switch it up, the scale tends to move a little faster!

9- Do some sort of exercise everyday. - I do 4-5 days per week but would like to increase this to everyday.

10 - 7,500 daily steps. I know most people aim for 10,000 but I have not found that to be a feasible option for me. I only hit 10,000 on occasion and that's on days when I feel like I am running non-stop. This is a more practical goal for me.

    Awesome goals! I especially like 4 and 5. Way to go on your weight loss! I am working on my second 10% loss.

    emoticon on working on your 3rd 10%!! I am working on my 2nd. I remember how exciting the first 10% was.

    awesome goals way to go don't forget us women need some strength training doesn't have to be heavy weights to help our bones . you are doing awesome and I love your gaols and all your postings on the team emoticon emoticon emoticon

    You have a great list of goals here! You have to do what works best for you, but it has been said that you should give your body at least one day of rest per week. I find that I do better by giving my body one day to "recoup". What works for me though, may not work for you. Good luck in achieving your goals! emoticon emoticon
