Where is that girl.....

Friday, February 01, 2013

Okay, why I haven't been around lately.....

I just "sprang" Paul from the hospital...woohoo! We just got home, and I encouraged him to take a shower, and rest a bit, as always I will be "wearing my wifely NURSE'S Cap!" I know you are aware that Paul is a colon cancer survivor, nearly 10 years, but with the bout that he had in December, with major cramping, followed by a colonoscopy which was clear, but scary none the less. Then the other morning, he had major bleeding, with a drop in BP, which brought him to his knees. We went to doctor, followed up with the calls, and headed to the hospital ER. Basically, he was told to take it easy, diet much like what we have been already eating, but "Nurse Fran" will make sure it is slightly less rough/fiber for digestion, and follow up with his doctors.

Hopefully, we will back to normal, but we also have several upcoming events, including me being gone with my leg/vein surgery in if you do not see us, just think how much FUN we will have when we get BACK into our normal schedules! WooHoo!!!

Thanks for understanding, and hope to see you all soon.
Fran and Paul

What a scary time! Glad he is doing okay and hopefully you will be back to doing fun things and not Dr things. I fear we are heading toward more Dr type things before long.
