Starting over fresh today on the 4HB diet. I kinda picked a good day and a bad day to do it. 1st of the month. then i can measure and weigh myself in one month or something like that. but, its friday and i normally do cheat day on sat. hmmmmm....

Jon is going to start eating right with me. he has the lucky advantage that his folks buy in bulk and are willing to get him a ton of groceries. me on the other hand, i buy my own. my parents laugh if i ask for something like that. yesterday i stocked up on food for this paycheck. salmon, lots of beans, i still have a ton of frozen veggies, but i forgot my eggs. lol. i still have half a tub of spinach (if ppl stop shoving it to the back of the fridge and freeze it) and blueberries for my shakes. i am doing fruit this time around however as a go to snack if i need to snack. and besides, you need fruit in your diet, i dont care what he says in his book. i dont like taking supplements, i would rather eat my vitamins.

a big challenge for me is drinking enough water. i just forget. not that i dont like water, i just space it out. so i think im going to fill up my water bottle and as soon as i wake up, start chugging some, get breakfast, drink the rest. at work, drink one with my coffee, drink one with lunch. if i go to the gym i will naturally drink more. but if not, drink another water bottles worth before bed.

going to try applying to some more jobs tonight. as much as i hate the thought of what working night shifts might do to my relationship with jon, he was all for it. we talked and he encouraged. so, maybe i will get the job at craig instead. idk. crazy world. im trying to just role with the punches now.

tonight i am going to try to make my first ever batch of home made hummus. i bought dried garbonzo idk how to spell that haha. i know its stupid simple. good for splurge snacking on with veggies of course. tonight im having salmon with my ideot lol lets see if it lets me keep that, ideot proof lentils. here, i know im not supposed to have anything coconut, but its SO simple and SO good. check it out here:

so, salmon, those, and prolly spinach salad. there was something else i was going to do and forgot...hmmm. oh well.

    I really struggle with drinking water and winter doesn't help... In summer it's a bit easier and I have a system that works: I drink a glass of water before and after every meal. I eat 5 times so it's 10 glasses! Maybe it will work for you, too.
