Chinese Restaurant:-(

Friday, February 01, 2013

Hi. Well, I can't just post about good days. So here goes, I went to a Chinese restaurant with a friend and thought I did okay. I made not the greatest choices, but the portions were small and I didn't eat much food. So I figured it up when I got home and I ate 1528 calories for lunch. Ugh! I had no idea that it would be that much.

On the flip side, I walked 45 minutes with my walking buddy Amy and it was great. I walked faster today than I have done previously.

Future note to self: Avoid Chinese restaurants because I will not eat the good stuff (broccoli, veggies, etc.).

Hope you have a blessed day!

I so totally get this! Look at my recent blog, "Hidden Sodium, Groaning Scale", and you'll see my most recent story. Good that you logged it, though, and you now have a framework to go on for next time.

Chinese is SO good, but soooo bad! So sneaky with the calories added!

The best thing calories wise to stick to...steamed foods and sushi! You can get a nice, NICE portion of steamed veggies for very few calories and sushi is low in fat/calories too!

Its OK to have "slips", you were trying to behave right!

Keep up the great work and believe in yerself!!!
