As of today, I have completed 11 intense workouts in 12 days. And it feels great!! I am really ready for a break though. I am happy to take 2 days off this weekend! I did something to my foot yesterday, I don't know if it was during my treadmill HIIT workout or not. I also don't know if it's because of my shoes. So, I plan on hitting the running shoe store this weekend for a new pair.
Next week I will be starting phase 2 of the FBB workouts. I am pretty excited. I sure hope that I see some real progress in the next 4 weeks. I feel do different about my body every day. Ups and downs. I worked out in the classroom at the gym this morning. I knew I was going to, so I wore a tighter shirt so that I could appreciate how small I've gotten. It really is nice to look in the mirror and think "who is that thin, fit girl??"
This weekend will be a fun one. My dad is in town, so I will stop by and hang out with him for a bit... maybe force him out on a run with me so I can get some training in. But as I say that, it would be foolish for me to do that with this pain in my foot, and having worked out the last 6 days. My body needs a break! But... we will see. I also plan on hitting the shoe store, getting my workouts copied down for the next phase and hopefully get some reading in . Sunday we are going to a friends house for the Super Bowl.
I'm sure it will be a bad calorie day on Sunday, so I hope to stay within range tomorrow. I also need to make sure to keep the coctails in check since we have to work on Monday! I only drink when we go out, but I usually have a few. I know that the liquor will be flowing at this party. Drunken gummy bears, jello shots.... oye. I think I have a hangover just thinking about it!! I just need to keep it in check and drink lots of water.
Anyway, does anybody else have exciting plans for the Super Bowl? Anybody doing Spark's Super Bowl workout??
