I'm so happy to say that I'm off to a really great start. I wasn't doing so hot over the holidays (my gingerbread cookies are to DIE for!) but now I'm back on track and feeling great.
I started P90X last weekend and wow is this workout program awesome! The routines are so dynamic and varied that it's hard to get bored. And they are TOUGH! I admit, I have a hard time keeping up, but I'm using this first week to just get acquainted with the moves. Even so I am most definitely getting an awesome workout. That's the thing I love about P90X, it grows with you. Whether you are a couch potato or an athlete these videos will kick your butt. Can't wait to BRING IT in week 2.
And with all that exercise I've been reluctant to ruin it with crappy food. Funny how doing one positive thing leads to other positive things. I've eliminated fried food, upped my intake of vegetables, and enjoy carb-laden meals post workout instead of late in the day. So far it's working!
