(I'm going to do a weekly check-in on Monday, but since January is technically over it's time to give the overall grade)
Overall grade: B
I definitely improved on my exercise this month and met my exercise goals more often than not. I wasn't perfect but I was very good. I feel a B is a fair grade.
Overall grade: D
There wasn't complete failure here. I did do well with fruits and veggies but goal is almost to the point it's not really challenging anymore. I did improve on weekend f/v but still fell short more often then suceeding. Tracking and staying in ranges was very weak (if not a complete fail). F/V is what kept me from getting an F for this goal.
Overall grade: A
I did not skip even one chore day and even got Sunday into a nice routine where I exercise (a new exercise I added mid month) first then do my chores. I'm very happy with how well I'm doing with this aspect of my goal list and it just proves that I know exactly how to fix this weakness in my life and it's not really that big a deal when I plan it out and do a bit at a time.
I'm not really grading this one since it's not really a goal so much as something I want to make sure to give my time/attention to. If I suddenly decided I hated the hobbies I'm doing I wouldn't shame myself for not doing them anymore, so that's why it's not "gradeable". That said, I had a very good creative month. I'm loving the swaps I'm doing through Swap Bot. I've whipped up some really cool stuff that I'm excited not only to make but to share (with my swap partner and on my blog).
Starting weight: 179.4
Ending weight: 178.2
Net LOSS: 1.2 lbs
Underwhelming but at least that pound I lost (and was all happy about) the first week of the month did remain gone. This just proves that if I just get my eating in control I can lose weight. I need to get back below my never again number of 175 and then focus to get to my final Never Again (150). I need to stop being so stubborn and just apply myself to the eating side of the equation the same way I suck it up and do my exercise on days when I "don't wanna" (or clean the toilet when I "don't wanna").
Overall it was a decent month. I had been so lax at the end of last year that this first month of 2013 needed to be kind of "slow" to usher me back into my healthier routines.
NOW, time to set those February goals.
