Looking forward to a strong and healthy 2013

The local hospital, in conjunction with our local YMCA and 2 fitness clubs is hosting a program called 'Fitness for Life'. It is educational: classes about nutrition, reading labels, and optional classes on diabetes, cholesterol, etc. Every 2 weeks they have a trainer come to the meetings to discuss the physical challenge for that period. I have been doing the challenges nearly each day. And the nutritional challenges have been met most every day. That feels great! I have had tendonitis in my left knee, so I haven't been able to do any cardio yet, but I am not allowed to; albeit taking it slow.
So, beginning today, I am doing the Leslie Sansonne 365 walk challenge. I began with 1 mile, just to see how my knee would feel. I am so happy that it feels good!
And an added bonus, I have removed 11/2# and 1.84" in the last month.
Now that I have added cardio, I am looking forward to getting fitter quicker!
