I know it's only been a few weeks, but this time, I really feel in control of my nutrition goals.
I have been cooking better for my spouse and I lately. Last night we went out for dinner, as he wanted to. I ordered a healthier meal and didn't eat all my steak and only 1/2 the baked potato. I ate a nice size salad and felt full. I did not drink any wine, like I usually did before with a meal. 1 or 2 glasses was my thing. I have quit drinking all alcohol for awhile, until I see some major results. It would be a lie to say I will never have a glass of wine again, as I know I will. I am looking forward to May when we visit some Wisconsin wineries on our vacation, but I just will limit what I drink to forge ahead. I will also not deny myself a celebration glass of wine for a holiday, but that's it. Does this mean my attitude is changing? I sure hope so!
