Yesterday I weighed in, and TADAAA! I reached my first goal of losing 8 pounds!!!
I can't believe I really did it. I am so proud of myself and am encouraged to keep it up! Being aware of the quantity of food I am eating is the big thing that has helped me lose the weight. The other day I wore one of my favorite purple shirts and when I looked at myself in the mirror... I looked slimmer in my midsection than the last time I wore that shirt! I saw a real change, the shirt was loser and laid better. What an AMAZING feeling!
I looooove bagels.
Before my Spark Journey I would eat a whole Thomas's Blueberry Bagel loaded with as much butter and cream cheeses it could hold. Now I have discovered the awesomeness of Lenders Bagels! They aren't mini bagels, they are like medium bagels and are almost half the calories as the big Thomas's. They still taste delicious, and are the perfect size for losing weight.
