Some realizations

I'm starting off slowly hoping that I'll stick with it this time but I've discovered that I still suck at the elliptical. I'm not giving up though - did 2 minutes today in addition to my 10 minutes on the bike. I also realized that I eat when my mother in law eats even though I'm not hungry. Guess it's a good thing she's going home in a week. The best thing I've discovered is that I miss walking! My treadmill is still in storage from when we moved and I'm not walking in -40...better get the treadmill set up this weekend before I lose the motivation!

    Instead of saying you suck at the elliptical - push yourself and celebrate the little victores. if you did 2 minutes one day - do 2 minutes and 15 seconds the next. Keep upping it every few days. Make a game of it and pick goal times.

I suck at running. But I started a program this week that has me doing little bits of running during my walk - and they keep getting easier and easier. Next week - it will push me harder. We all start out bad at some excercises or all exercises. It's just like anything else in life - it takes drive and time. emoticon
