Gingerly I step

Friday, February 01, 2013

This morning I carefully carefully gently did some of my physical therapy stretches without weights and being careful regarding my neck and pulling my arms. My shoulder/neck still hurt some, but I was able to get through work yesterday no problem.

I am all set for the outpatient procedure on the 15th, as I went to the doc yesterday. I need to go for bloodwork. Unfortunately, the prednisone pushed the scale up according to the doctor's scale. Rats.

A couple days ago I started with a facial breakout again, then when it was really bad yesterday and the day before my back was pretty bad too. I am not sure if there is a correlation or coincidence yet since I am still exploring how to alleviate the rash/breakouts. I may have let some wheat slip in somewhere since last Thursday before the breakout started. I am being more vigilant now.

Last night, we had a date night and went out to eat. I am proud to say I only ate half of my meal, except for the salad, and brought home the leftovers for a meal for today. I also only had about 1 square inch of the garlic bread that is so hard to resist.

Little baby steps. one little step at a time. One little day at a time. One decision at a time.

My blood pressure yesterday was the best it has been in a long time~!

Today, my other cat, Pumpkin, allowed me to hold him about 4 minutes. that is a record. Then he realized what he was doing and jumped down! Peaches is such a better lap cat, but I hope that eventually Pumpkin will calm down enough to want to be a lap cat.

I have to ask I might have missed something is PUMPKIN new to your household. I only ever saw PEACHES before.

I have been taking a medication that is counter productive, it really helped but I have decided to not take it and then I must decide which way is better. I feel great but no weight loss despite tracking and exercise but now I am trying to do more for this month. I am frankly happy where I am. HUGS Be Patient Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon

So glad you enjoyed your date night and ate the way you desired. I pray that you be completely restored from all the pain and rashes and whatever else is going on in your body in Jesus' Name!

Sorry you have to take medicine that goes against the hard work you do. Been there! lol At last I am off those things but the weight is not coming off any faster but we will get there. I have a 80 pound lap dog! I dream of a cat but I don't think "Chico",my picture on face book, would like it. He is not a cat dog. He helps finish my food so he keeps me in check. But the cat in picture is BEAUTIFUL. Glad your getting better.

I agree with Scooter! That's quite a lap full of kitty. LOL! Sorry about the prednisone. :( I hate it when I have to take that too. You'll get it back off. One step at a time for everything. :) HUGS!

Sorry you are still having issues :(( I know what you mean about garlic bread *sigh*

LOLOL Look at the size of that cat! That's quite a lap-full!

Glad to hear you're making progress. Don't let that false prednisone weight get you down, my friend. emoticon
