Well, I've officially made it to the halfway point of the pregnancy. I am up 7 pounds, but really wish it was a little less. It's my fault really. At the beginning of my pregnancy I was pretty sick, most of the day. The only thing that really seemed to sit well with me was carbs. A lot of them. So I quit tracking. I am so angry with myself that I let it go this long. I don't think I've tracked anything since Thanksgiving.
Today is a new day though. February 1st, time to regain control. I have an idea of a healthy calorie range for me from our doctor, and I'm going to stick to it, darn it! I know I will have to deal with cravings, but I need to find healthier ways to indulge in them, and not just (over) indulge in them. I need to to stay on a healthy track now, so it's habit when this baby comes.
I have been doing some good things though. I have worked out consistently for 5-6 days a week. Right now I am jogging in place for 10 minutes and using my Wii Fit Free Stepping program for 30 minutes, and I am doing that twice a day. I have had considerabley less pain this pregnancy than I did the previous one, and I am attributing that to the consistent exercise. I hope that once it's nicer outside that I can add the weekend back into my workout routine by walking outside with my family. Winter working out in the house stinks!! I also have been very good about my water intake. I know I am getting more than enough of that everyday without tracking it!
Happy February to you all. It's great to be back, and this time, I'm staying!
